Bio

Edith Springer is the senior trainer at the Harm Reduction Training Institute in New York. Ms. Springer is the founder of the New York Peer AIDS Education Coalition, an HIV prevention organization by and for street youth. Ms. Springer also helped create the Association for Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment in 1985, and helped form the Harm Reduction Coalition.
The Harm Reduction Training Institute is a joint project of the Harm Reduction Coalition and the Lindesmith Center/Open Society Institute.
