Enroll your kids in after-school activities.

Ask your kids what types of activities they're interested in and contact the school principal or guidance counselor to find out what activities are available for your child. If there's nothing suitable at school, ask your friends, check with the churches, watch the local newspaper and enlist your child's help in finding just the right thing. It's worth the effort.
