Restrict R-rated Movies

A new study has found that kids whose parents don't let them watch R-rated movies are five times less likely to try cigarettes or alcohol than youngsters who are allowed to watch whatever they want.

The movie industry uses the rating system to let the public (parents) know which movies have adult themes. We should believe the ratings! No fewer than 31% of kids surveyed (ages 9-15) said that they had no restrictions whatsoever on which movies they watched!

This survey is part of a broad study sponsored by the National Cancer Institute.
