Tips for Parenting

Be sure your doctor is asking the right questions.

The American Society for Addiction Medicine recommends that doctors be aware that young patients may be using club drugs (including Ecstasy) while believing that the drugs are not harmful. Conversations about how young people spend their leisure time - at concerts or all-night dance parties - could lead to discussions about drug use and provide the physician the opportunity to counsel about the dangers of Ecstasy which has properties of both stimulants and hallucinogens.

Send us your tips for parenting concerning kids and drugs.
