Alcohol and Mortality

Did you know that 8 young people die every day in alcohol-related crashes? (Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, 1996). Don't let it be your child. Talk to your children about your expectations and your concerns. Let them know you will pick them up anywhere, anytime if either they or their driver has been drinking. For more information, check the statistics section of the MADD site at www.madd.org.

Send us your tips for parenting concerning kids and drugs.
